Hi and welcome!
My name is Danielle Chouinard (pronounce Shh-nard)
I'm happy to be your liaison from the ASU Kares Library.
First and foremost I'm a librarian but I also love learning languages, sketching, making and tinkering.
My current favorite mediums are fiber arts, book arts and electronic gadgetry.
Have questions or want to chat? Please get in touch. I can't wait to hear more about your work.

Your MFA thesis is more than just a final project—it's a comprehensive research adventure that brings together your creative vision, scholarly investigation, and academic discovery. Think of the library as your collaborative partner in this journey, offering resources, guidance, and support as you develop a robust research foundation for your creative work.
If you are feeling stuck about where to begin your research or how to start the outline for you thesis, it may be helpful to create a mind map. I like to create mind maps using a large sheet of paper, pencils and sticky notes. Others prefer to use free mind mapping software such as Miro. Here is a video to get you started if you would like to try mind mapping.
