Use the Library

Alumni of Athens State University may receive a community-user library card at no charge. With a community-user card, alumni may borrow books from Kares Library.

Residents of the Athens-Limestone County community may borrow books from Kares Library by purchasing a community-user card.  The cost is $25 for a two-year card.

Members of the public (including the categories above) may spend time in the building, browse and read books, make photocopies, and use library computers to search the Internet.
